Born and raised in Chicago, Steve opened his first Unique Indoor Comfort in Palatine, IL with Unique's founder Tom Mutz in 1972. He also helped open Unique's in Elmhurst, IL and Northbrook, IL. Steve then moved to Dallas in 1981 to open the first Unique in Texas, and in 1989, opened Philadelphia Unique Indoor Comfort with his son, Jack. Steve currently resides in Rockwall, Texas with his wife Nancy.
